Workshop on Object Systems and Software ArchitecturesVictor Harbor, South Australia, January 11th-14th WOSSA'2004 is a workshop hosted by the Jacaranda Research Group and the School of Computer Science at the University of Adelaide. It brings research students from across Australia together with leading international and national researchers in the fields of object systems and software architectures. These research themes investigate technology for the construction of large scale distributed software systems of tomorrow - systems that must meet systemic challenges such as longevity, compliance and evolvability, in addition to traditional requirements such as functionality and correctness. At WOSSA, postgraduate and post-doctoral reseachers will participate in lively interaction with leading national and international researchers through discussion, presentation and constructive feedback. WOSSA provides a unique opportunity in Australia for postgraduates and early career researchers to present early work and preliminary results, and helps form the basis for potential international collaboration in future years.
