Mountain View

Currently, I am computer science PhD candidate at The University of Adelaide. I am working at Australian Center for Visual Technologies (ACVT) under supervsion of associate Prof. Dr. Gustavo Carneiro and Dr. Tat Jun Chin. I am particularly interested in Medical Image Analysis using Deep learning and graphical models. More recently, I have been working on breast image analysis for detection, segmentation and classification of the tumor from mammograms with Prof. Dr. Gustavo Carneiro (ACVT) and Prof. Dr. Andrew P. Bradley (University of Queensland). In the coarse of time, I have published few paper on mass detection and segmentation from mammograms using recently developed powerful deep learning tehcniques.

Prior to my PhD, I was working as full-time faculty member at Kathmadu University and College of Biomedical Engineering and Applied Science (CBEAS) in Nepal. I was tutoring subject such as Instrumentation, Neural network, Embedded systems, Control system , Biomedical Electronics and Biomaterials for the undergraduate student and graduate students.

I finished my undergraduate and post-graduate degree from Don State Technical University, Rostov on Don, Russia with high class distinction (Red Diplom) in Biomedical Engineering under supervision of Prof. Dr. Anatoly Litvin. The scholarship for studying undergraduate and post-graduate degree in Russia was provided by Ministry of Education, Nepal.
