at the Duck Lounge
Welcome to the Computer Science Learning Centre (CSLC), nicknamed the Duck Lounge.
The Duck Lounge is a space for students undertaking Computer Science subjects. This flexible area is used casually, as well as for small industry meet ups, tutoring, projects, meetings, and coding club, among other things. A small number of computers, lots of whiteboard space and movable furniture make the space ideal for brainstorming and learning with your peers.

All student activities, including those scheduled for the CSLC can be found in the student activities calendar. If you have a large computer science activity (10 or more people) you can book the room by emailing the school office, CS club executive committee or CS student representatives.
The CSLC offers free on-demand tutoring in programming languages for students currently enrolled in a Computer Science course - inheritance/objects, pointers, language syntax, using unix or SVN etc. If you have course specific questions that are not related to program design or implementation, such as a computer graphics technique or network protocol, your lecturer is the best person contact. To see your lecturer, e-mail them for an appointment or drop in during office hours.
