Amusing/interesting sites. Amusing is probably the wrong word as the vegetable computer really works.

Mika Nyström's vegetable computer at Caltech It took me back to too many years than I want to remember in high school physics classes. It is a really interesting and fun application that could be used to get kids interested in physics, maths and electronics (apart from we adults who are already hooked)
Puzzle World contains information about many of the finest handcrafted mechanical puzzles in the world including tangrams.
