Third Workshop on Digital Technologies

This free multiday workshop is aimed at teachers and pre-services teachers interested in Digital Techonlogies at any level.

The aim of this professional development workshop is to provide opportunities to:

Have hands-on experience with lab resources
Reflect, share and explore teaching practices for Digital Technologies
Map your program or lesson plans into the DT curriculum
Have conversations and exchange tips and ideas with your peers.
Try a range of inexpensive hardware resources such as makey-makeys or edison robots
Be inspired to engage students in extra-curriculum activities such as coding clubs or makerspace areas.

Our Pinterest cs4hs page collects many online DT resources and lesson plans grouped by topic and level.
CS Unpluggled is a collection of free learning activities that teach Computer Science through engaging games and puzzles that use cards, strings, crayons and lots of running around. No computer equipment needed, hence the name. YouTube channel for CSunplugged has videos to show how to run the activities.
Scratch is a graphical programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art.
